Hi, my name is Katie Parker, welcome to my UA-cam channel for sharing jewellery making techniques and designs. I make jewellery in a range of different mediums which include wirework & seed beading. I also love to combine the 2 mediums together using seed beads with wire. I also use genuine gemstone in my designs which I have a passion for collecting.
I started making jewellery as a hobby 6 years ago which then gave the opportunity to start an Etsy shop. From there I discovered a passion for teaching others my newly learned skills. I appear as a Guest Designer on Jewellery Maker TV channel in the UK and also hold Workshops for a growing number of students in my local area.
Since the outbreak of Covid-19 my work has diminished and now find myself with lots of time on my hands so I'm sharing my learnt techniques and some of my designs with you here.

Hi Katie, just discovered your tutorials-ace! I'm not new to jewellery making but have had a break from it for a few years now, I've loads of jewellery components & beads, and just need a refresher look at the tutorials to remind me how things go together. I am now also in favour of making jewellery with sterling silver & real gold & rose gold findings. Do you have any ideas/tutorials on bracelets & necklaces with a centre connector please? Keep up the great videos, you are so clear in your descriptions! 💕

Hi, I buy my wire from www.wire.co.uk this colour is called gunmetal but is more bronze.

If I want to make the length of my wire a little shorter. What size can length do you suggest?
Hi, you can adjust to any length you want I would just experiment with different lengths until you find your desired length. Thanks for watching 😁
When I place a round bead in the center, once I'm done wrapping it comes out crooked. Like the wires on each end are not even with each other.
Keep practicing, get the bead centred and the wire level (drill hole level) before moving on 😀
